
After an extensive amount of time playing and improving, I managed to reach a personal best of twelve seconds in Hexagon mode. The goal is to avoid all the incoming lines and to see how long you last. Upon first loading up the game, expect to die. Hexagon is the hard difficulty, it only gets tougher, and there are three unlockable modes as well for completing each of these modes (which suggests that there is an endgame to reach). Here’s a pro tip: if Hexagon mode is too hard for you, then practice with Hexagoner for a while, and then go back to Hexagon. The music is great and I keep thinking I can beat my previous record, which leads me down that just-one-more-game mentality. Even though I’m not nearly as good as others, I am finding it quite hard to put down. Super Hexagon is incredibly challenging and addictive, which is exactly what you should get in an iPhone game. Additionally, if you can clear each difficultly level, you are able to unlock three more, but I have not been able to accomplish this yet. Basically, these are just easy, medium, and hard in hexagon terms, though none of these are really easy.
